Connections Adult Day Care Centre is open

Enfield Carers Centre, the local charity providing holistic support to Carers across the borough, has announced the opening of Connections, a new day care service for adults in Enfield.

Connections opens its doors in March in a refurbished space at Queensway. It offers a range of care and activities for older people or those who need care, as well as respite for Carers, complementing the award-winning carer support services that Enfield Carers Centre already provides.

CEO Pam Burke said: “We are excited about opening our doors here in Queensway and extending the support we provide to unpaid Carers. We know we need more services for people receiving care, so that unpaid Carers have flexible options for combining their caring responsibilities with work, or to simply take a break, and manage their own health and wellbeing.

“Connections has been purpose built with users in mind, offering care in a new space provided by qualified, trained staff. Clients can expect services that are delivered with dignity and respect from fully trained staff in a safe and secure location.

“We are delighted to bring new interest and opportunity to this area of Enfield and pleased to confirm also that Connections’ spaces are available for hire at weekends and evenings.“
