Trevor Uys, Service Manager for Enfield Integrated Learning Disabilities Service, in Enfield Council has sent a letter for parents and carers of people with Learning Difficulties.

An extract from the letter is:

“We are very aware of the additional stress and anxiety caused by restrictions imposed by COVID-19 and we are keen to work with you through transitional arrangements towards fully opening venue-based Day Services, when the time is right, taking into consideration your comments and feedback.

As you may remember, we sent you a letter at the beginning of COVID-19 lockdown, advising you that all venue-based day services will be closed for 12 weeks. Whilst we were not in the position to safely reopen the services in June, we are now at the planning stage to consider a phased reopening, guided by health and safety recommendations made by the Government and Public Health.”
