This event is for carers of under 18s.

We’re delighted to introduce our new partner “Resources For Autism” a specialist organisation with many years’ experience of supporting Family Carers and people living with Autism.

We’ve also invited SENDIASS, Our Voice, Officers from the Enfield Council SEND and Adult Integrated Learning Disability Teams and CAPE (Carers & Parents of Adults with LD) and many more.

If your loved one has a learning disability or Autism, this event is for you.

Who are “Resources for Autism”?

They’ve been supporting autism for over 25 years, helping over 2,000 beneficiaries and 5,000 family members every year. Founded by Dr Hartley Booth OBE in 1997 during his time as an MP in response to families concerned about the lack of available support for autistic people and their families.

Their vision is: A society where autistic people can live happy and fulfilling lives.

What’s on offer in 2026?

  • One to one sessions with an Autism Specialist
  • Training Sessions to help Carers better understand Autism
  • Workshops in April & June
  • Specialist Support Groups for Autism Carers

LD Carers: This Spring event will also provide information about local council services for families supporting a loved one living with a learning disability and voluntary organisations/groups in Enfield which support parents of children and/or adults with a learning disability.
