Enfield Carers Centre are looking for a full time Young Carers Schools Liaison Officer.
The role will involve working in schools and the community in the London Borough of Enfield, raising awareness, identifying, and supporting Young Carers aged 5–18.
Who Should Apply?
- The candidate must have experience of working with children and young people, and working in a school/education, charity, or social care setting.
- A major part of this role involves delivering presentations, talks, and lessons to large groups of children and adults.
- An ability to work on your own initiative and manage a varied workload within agreed time scales is essential.
- An ability to deal tactfully, sensitively, and empathetically with all enquiries is needed.
- The Person Specification (in the Job Description) provides you with a breakdown of the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in the role and highlights whether these are either essential or desirable to the role.
- This post is subject to an enhanced CRB/DBS check.
- You must have a full driving license and a car for this role. You will need to arrange business use to be covered on your car insurance.

Hours & Pay
Hours: 35 per week including some evening and weekend work
Holiday: 25 days and Bank Holidays, per annum
Salary: £27,300 per annum
