Enfield Carers Centre are looking for a part time Carers Assessments Officer.  

You will work as a member of Enfield Carers Centre to support the delivery of carer assessments to unpaid family carers in Enfield.

The role of a Carers Assessment Officer is to engage with carers to determine whether their caring responsibilities are affecting their wellbeing, identify appropriate support options, and take steps to help them access these services.

The successful post holder will be committed to working with Carers to empower them to reduce the impact their caring role has on their own wellbeing, and/or support them to withdraw from elements of, or even all, care provision should this be causing them concern.

Who Should Apply?

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working either in the voluntary sector or in health and social care in an advisory capacity, or have a strong admin, customer service background.

Hours & Pay

Hours:    21 hours total per week: Wednesday and Friday working times are 9am to 5pm and Thursday working times are 1pm – 9pm

Holiday: 25 days and Bank Holidays, per annum pro rata

Salary:   £27,300 per annum (pro rata based on 21 hours per week)
