Enfield Community Respiratory Team
A great opportunity to get free help if you suffer with lung disease.
Enfield Community Respiratory Team runs free courses to help those with diagnosed lung disease to get fitter and do more despite being breathless. Participants will also be supported to learn new skills in managing their chest disease, understand how to make the most of life, manage their symptoms and feel confident about what to do when they are having a flare up of their chest disease.
You will be assessed by a physiotherapist who can then set you up on an exercise programme which is just right for you. The groups are relaxed, friendly and welcoming and sessions run across Enfield and are on major bus routes.
It is hoped that participants can complete 12 sessions which provides maximum benefit.
Here is some feedback from people who have been through the course:
“I really wish I had done it sooner”. “I feel so much more confident and less anxious about my lung condition”. “The group was really friendly ….we all seemed to have good and bad days”.
