At Enfield Carers Centre we know that sometimes a group setting is not what is needed and sometimes you just want to sit and talk to somebody, face to face. We  offer one to one support and advice in the following ways.

HELP

Drop ins

At ECC we know that sometimes a group setting is not what is needed and so we have weekly drop-in times where you can come into the Centre and talk to a member of the team to ask for advice or just to have a chat with somebody about your caring role.

See our ‘Contact Us‘ page or our newsletter with days and times of weekly Drop in’s.

Appointments

After registering as a Carer, you can speak to one of the team and, if it is required, we can make you an appointment for a one-to-one appointment. We will always talk to you first to make sure that we have all the information that we need and to ensure that you see the correct person. Some of the things that you may want to talk could include:

  • Benefits and money advice
  • Legal advice
  • How to get help from social services
  • Information about homecare services or residential care
  • Taking a break from your caring role
  • Your own health and wellbeing
  • Counselling
  • Booking a carers Assessment
  • Support for Young Carers

If we cannot help you, we will make sure to signpost or refer you to somebody who can.
