We know that every carer and every Caring role is different, ECC can help and support carers facing a variety of challenges and situations.

OUR MAIN FUNDERS ARE

London Borough of Enfield

In  December 2017 Enfield Carers Centre bid for and won a three year contract with the London Borough of Enfield to deliver carers services across the borough. These services include:

  • Carers one to one support
  • Regular support groups
  • Carers Emergency Card Scheme
  • Carers breaks and activities
  • Training and Information Sessions
  • Emergency Respite
  • Replacement Care

Enfield Carers Centre has a long and successful relationship with LBE and is looking forward to continuing this into the future.

National Lottery Community Fund

From October 2022, National Lottery Community Fund will give us 4 years of support for Young Carers in Enfield!

This will allow us to carry on and expand our work supporting Children and Young people aged 5-18, who have taken on caring roles.

Support includes:

  • Mentoring
  • In school support
  • Training and information
  • Free Tuition and homework clubs
  • Family support
  • Access to Hardship Funds
  • Regular hubs and activities
  • Much, much more
PREVIOUS FUNDERS WERE:

Henry Smith Charity

In October 2017 we were delighted to secure three years funding from the Henry Smith Charity to fund a Carers Healthcare Worker. This role involves working primarily with GP Practices across the borough to identify and support carers. We are looking forward to a long and successful working relationship with the Henry Smith Charity.

Children in Need

In 2017 Enfield CarerChildren in Need Logos Centre decided that we needed a serviced dedicated to the support of Young Carers aged 5 – 18 years old. We recognised that there was a real gap in specialised services for Young Carers in Enfield and applied to Children in Need for a three-year grant to begin the service. We were delighted to be awarded this funding in October 2017. For full details of EyPIC (Enfield Young People in Caring). We are delighted to be working in partnership with Children in Need to deliver these essential services to young carers in Enfield.
