Enfield Carers Centre are looking for a full time Welfare Benefits Adviser.

The postholder will deliver Welfare Benefits advice and welfare reform information specific to unpaid, family Carers.

The role will involve working across the borough and at the Carers Centre delivering a wide range of Benefits and money management advice and support to family Carers in Enfield on a one to one and group basis.

In line with ECC’s safer recruitment policy, the post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.

Who Should Apply?

  • The candidate must have experience of working in a Benefits advisory role either in the voluntary sector or in health and social care capacity; this is not a trainee role.
  • The Person Specification (in the Job Description above) provides you with a breakdown of the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in the role and highlights whether these are either essential or desirable to the role.
  • This post is subject to an enhanced CRB/DBS check.
  • You must have a full driving license and a car for this role. You will need to arrange business use to be covered on your car insurance.

Hours & Pay

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Holiday: 25 days pa

Salary:   £32,681 pa
