Young Carers Action Day (YCAD) in March 2024
The EyPIC team had a busy week raising awareness of Young Carers as part of Young Carers Action Day (YCAD) on Wednesday 13th March.
This week they delivered an assembly and stall at home-time at Honilands Primary School, attended the launch of the Young Carers Covenant, had a celebration with Young Carers on YCAD itself, led a parent coffee morning at West Lea School, and delivered 2 assemblies and a stall at Highfield Primary School.
All this in addition to reaching out to local MPs and councillors, and leading our usual activities with young carers, such as Homework Club and Kindness Club, and support work!
If you would like the EyPIC Young Carers team to deliver an assembly, staff training, outreach stall, coffee morning, or PSHE lessons at your school – COMPLETELY FREE, then please contact Kara, our Schools Liaison Officer on schools@enfieldcarers.org
Fair Futures for Young Carers
Being a young carer shouldn’t be a barrier to a young person’s dreams. It should be a stepping stone to a brighter future.
Together, let’s create a future where young carers can dream without limits.
Your voice matters. Support us on Young Carers Action Day so every young carer can learn, earn, and thrive!

Story telling about Young Carers
We need you to tell us your stories of being a Young Carer.
