Young Carers

Young Carers

Who is a Young Carer?

A Young Carer is somebody under 18 who helps to care for a family member who may have an illness, disability or addiction.

“As a Young Carer you often have many worries which can limit concentration. Young Carers should have someone within school to talk to about their caring roles with confidence and trust.”
