We provide quality homecare services for adults and children living with autism and learning difficulties.

As every child or adult individual living with autism will display their condition differently, our experienced, dedicated, and skilled Homecare team understands how vital it is to deliver person-centred care to support the individual and their families.

What we do

Our staff are compassionate, dedicated and keen to support the children and adults we deliver services to.

We directly employ and carefully vet and train all of our staff, many of whom have been working in this field with us for 10-20 years.  As a result, they’re not only dedicated and compassionate but they also have expertise and are keen to give care and support every step of the way.

Autism is a life-long developmental condition affecting how individuals living with autism communicate, interact with others and how they interpret or experience the world around them.

Our support may involve:

  • engaging in play or social interaction,
  • assisting our clients to access wider range of community-based facilities and venues,
  • building confidence in social skills
  • positive behaviour support approach,
  • encouraging and/or assisting with life independent skills,
  • enhancing quality of life

Who we help

Autism can be associated with other conditions such as attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, anxiety or depression and epilepsy.  Our staff receive training in autism awareness and our service is always tailored and unique – whether that’s helping with a particular hobby or activity to making sure our clients are safe within their own home.

Our Homecare support starts with a personalised assessment of needs and planning of care for every child or adult with autism and their family carers.

Taking into consideration the level of assistance, needs and preferences, the assessment will outline and determine what individualised support our skilled staff will be providing during their visits.

Autism as a spectrum means that individual needs and levels of assistance may vary.

Some people may need little assistance with day-to-day activities while others may have high support needs and require long-term support.

Whichever it is, our trained staff will ensure individual needs are being met through stimulated engagement.

People living with autism may:

  • not be able to communicate verbally
  • have need for structure and/or routine
  • experience sensory difficulties which may result in meltdowns or shutdowns
  • display or engage in repetitive behaviour
  • passionately engage in special interests
  • display behaviour which may challenge
