Care At Home: How Can We Help You?
With our “Good” Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating, we work closely with you to provide a tailored care service that reflects your needs. We provide:
We can provide a wide range of care services in Enfield and surrounding boroughs that complement the support of family and professionals and deliver it in your home. All services and activities are tailored to the needs of the Carer and the person they care for including:
- Planning visits outings and trips and escorting to appointments and classes
- Social visits and companionship
- Support for children with disabilities or special needs
- Supporting mobility
- Help around the home such as meal preparation and light housework
- Sleeping and disturbed night care
- End of life care
- Help with medication, peg-feeding and stoma-care
- Helping with personal care including washing, dressing and continence
- Supporting those living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia

High Quality Caring Services
Our compassionate, respectful staff are carefully matched not only to meet the care needs of the person receiving support, but also to reflect their personality and interests.
Domiciliary / care at home
If you need personal care, help with medication or require companionship we can provide regular scheduled visits throughout the week to help you continue living as independently as possible.
Live-in care service
A Live-in Care Support Worker / Personal Assistant lives in your home to be on hand for when you require assistance if, for example, you have a long-term health condition that you need assistance with.
Personal Assistant
Personal Assistants (PAs) can do a variety of personal, domestic and administrative tasks e.g. assisting with dressing, cooking, shopping, reading or filing papers. PAs can also accompany you to social events, lectures and work, enabling you to live life to the full on your terms.

Whether you’re looking for extra support at work, at university or regular assistance to help you stay in your own home, we’ll match you with the right person who will help you to continue living at home (including considering personalities, interests, languages and cultures in Enfield).
CARE
Replacement Care
Are you struggling to find time for yourself, attend your own medical appointments or perform regular household tasks because you can’t leave your loved one whilst you go out? We can help, and the process is simple; here’s how it works:
- Register with ECC
- Our team will carry out an assessment of your loved one’s health care needs
- We’ll then make arrangements with you to timetable when the replacement care takes place
Replacement care visits are for a minimum of 1 hour as we believe quality care takes time.
We offer free replacement care* to attend ECC activities
We know it’s not always possible to have someone stay with your loved one while you visit the Carers Centre. If you cannot leave the person you care for but would like to join one of our activities (for example, a carer support group), please call our office to arrange free replacement care*.
If you have not used our homecare services before, we will need to carry out an assessment first.

COST
What will it cost?
Our prices – we can be competitive because we are not-for-profit
Our pricing structure is competitive, fair and transparent.
Homecare rates for new clients are:
- Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 20:00 – £29.70 per hour
- Monday to Friday – 20:00 to 08:00 – £31.90 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday – any time – £31.90 per hour
Sleeping night or Waking night care is for a minimum of 10 hours from £264 or £319.
You can also contact us for a bespoke quote according to your needs.
Different ways to pay for Homecare
If the person receiving care has their own money or income (for example, a pension, disability benefits, or savings), you can pay us directly for their homecare services by credit or debit card, or via online payment. We will send you an invoice each month.
You may be entitled to help from social services to pay for, or contribute towards, the cost of homecare services. Talk to one of our Support Workers, who can explain the council’s assessment process to you.
People often think homecare is unaffordable. We can support you and help you to:
- Claim all the benefits you’re entitled to
- Apply for NHS Continuing Healthcare
- Access funding from your local council
- Make informed use of your assets

In line with CQC regulations, our staff complete 15 Standards of Care made up of both mandatory and non-mandatory training.
