Homecare Services From a Charity You Can Trust

Homecare (also known as domiciliary care) simply describes a person (adult or child) receiving care in their own home.  At Enfield Carers Centre (ECC), we understand the importance of helping Carers to enjoy a break from caring.

Family members and friends cannot always be around so we take great pride in making sure that your dedicated care support worker is the next best thing.

CARE

Replacement Care

Are you struggling to find time for yourself, attend your own medical appointments or perform regular household tasks e.g. shopping etc. because you can’t leave your loved one whilst you go out?  We can help.

Once you’ve registered with Enfield Carers Centre (ECC), we’ll carry out an assessment of your loved one’s health care needs and make arrangements with you to timetable when the replacement care takes place.

Replacement care visits are for a minimum of 1 hour. For pricing see the information below.

Free replacement care* to attend ECC activities

We understand that not everyone has family or friends who can be with your loved one when you take some time out to visit the Carers Centre for an appointment or to enjoy one of our training or other activities. If you cannot leave your loved one but would like to book one of our activities e.g. attend one of our Carer support groups, call our office to book free replacement care*.

If you’ve not used our homecare services before, we will need to arrange an assessment of your loved one’s healthcare needs before agreeing to provide replacement care. The assessment will ensure that we fully understand their needs, likes and dislikes and so that we can provide one of our qualified team best suited to care for them whilst you’re away from home.
